Managing Director
Mark's early career was in business development for a boutique finance house, where he
procured and oversaw a £500 million asset portfolio. Whilst working at the finance house Mark studied accountancy, finance and contract negotiation for 5 years. For the past 30 years Mark has been
acquiring, promoting and developing land. Mark is a specialist advisor on Option and Promotion Agreements, and has spent the last 7 years advising landowners on the best strategy to maximise their land value.
Operations Director
Andrew's family property business, SGJ Ltd, was established in 1955. Andrew joined the
company in 1986 as Finance Manager. He became involved with the property development team,
acquiring sites and dealing with the planning process. For the last 10 years he has focused on the promotion and allocation of strategic sites.
Operations
Martyn is responsible for our Site Assessment and Management. A Graduate of Manchester
University, he worked for over a decade in manufacturing and industry before becoming involved in the management and maintenance of
commercial estates. He has been an Operations Manager for the past 18 years and runs our on-site and office services.
Avon Planning Services
Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Diploma in
Town Planning. He is a Chartered Town Planner and member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
(RTPI), and a former Director and Trustee of the Town and Country Planning Summer School
Charity. With over 16 years of experience in local government, having worked for Bournemouth
Borough Council, Coventry City Council, Stratford-on-Avon District Council and as a Development
Manager at Wychavon District Council, he set up his own independent consultancy in 2003. APS
assists a broad range of clients including local planning authorities, town and parish councils,
architectural practices, private developers and land promoters.
Oakwood Planning
Jayne runs her own planning consultancy, Oakwood Planning, advising clients in relation to a
variety of different developments including residential, commercial and rural planning matters.
She holds a First Class Joint Honours degree in Geography and Town Planning and a Masters with
Distinction in Spatial Planning, and is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Jayne has
over 13 years experience of Local Government, working for County, District and City Council’s at
all levels from assistant planner through to senior planner and management, including 4 years as
a Team Leader at Stratford on Avon District Council.
